Taira McNiel was born in December 1997 in Las Vegas, Nevada to Reginald LaFrance Jr. and Rosa DeLourdes Baez. She spent her childhood exploring her passion for fantasy novels while in school. At 18, she joined the United States Army where she was stationed at Fort Drum, NY. Her love of adventure, fantasy, and romance novels greatly expanded. During her time in the military, she met her loving husband, with whom she raises two children, and her two dogs, whom she shares her love of fantasy with. She is currently a student at Southern New Hampshire University working towards earning a BA in creative writing. She is the author of The Crucible’s Champion, with other projects in the works.
